The Tony Awards Present "Broadway's Back" 2021

“We are thrilled to bring the best of Broadway to television viewers who have been through so much without the joys, comfort and excitement that live theatre provides,” said Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President, Specials, Music, Live Events and Alternative Programming, CBS Entertainment. “With the combined power of CBS and Paramount+, the show will honor this year’s Tony Award nominees and winners in a new format unlike any other, and celebrate the iconic music, memorable performances and unique personalities that make Broadway so special.”

This was such an emotional night for everyone.

We all support our Broadway Family. There was so much kindness & respect towards everyone, because we all have been through so much in the 2 years that people were so grateful just to be able to work among friends.

Broadway truly has a special energy and I’m honored to be a part of the BEST production Team in NYC.

Arturo Castro

Omg this guy today 🤣 Mr Funny@arturocastrop‼️ Arturo is know as Jamie on “Broad City”... but he’s so funny Comedy Central gave him his OWN show “Alternatino”🎤 He plays 72.. that’s right 72 different characters 😳 He was also the Badass in “Narcos”. The man has serious talent & it was a pleasure working with him today. Thanks Buddy for making me laugh 😂 .

2017 Tony Awards

Thank goodness the Tonys came back to Radio City! That is their proper home :) We were at the Beacon the last couple of years.

Kevin Spacey was our host this year & he did not disappoint. He was funny & he can really DANCE & SING!

Uma Thurman , an old client hung out in the makeup room & we had some laughs.

It takes a village to pull off this show & I'm proud to say this is my 18th year doing it.

This is my favorite show of the tear...No drama because theatre actors are so professional that drama isn't even in their vocabulary :)  Which in this business is RARE!

This show just keeps getting better & better every year!

Saving The Rainforest @ Carnegie Hall with Gina Gershon & Jennifer Nettles

Trudie Slyler & Sting never disappoint when it comes to throwing a party to save the rainforest.

I'm honored to be a part of this show when it's in New York City @ the legendary Carnegie Hall.

There are so many wonder musical acts & all the precedes go to such a beautiful cause.

It was an absolute blast to do makeup & hair for Gina Gershon & Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland.

Both ladies were AWESOME & how HOT are they????

And can I say "Sassy" … of course in a good way :D

Comedy Central Upfront 2016

If your laughing most of the day at work you must be working at Comedy Central :)

Comedy Central had it's first "Upfront" at Town Hall in NYC and all the funnest stars in show biz showed up….no kidding!

They Had The "Broad City" ladies IIana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson there along with Amy Schumer.

"Workaholics" Adam DeVine and Blake Anderson.

Jason Sudekis was super sweet to work with as well as Tim Robinson and Natasha Leggero.

Chris Hardwick from "Talking Dead" was so silly backstage… he made everyone get in the picture (here posted) as a selfie like Ellen did at the Oscars.

Oh yes, everyone had a smile on their face this day and if you didn't there had to be something seriously wrong with you :D

Best day!!

Sam Shepard "Buried Child"

In true form Sam Shepard does not disappoint.

I was fortunate enough to be able to work on his play the final week it was on Broadway in NYC.

This of course is not a "feel good" play but the acting was outstanding.

With Ed Harris as the lead how could it have not been spectacular ?

Taissa Farmiga from "American Horror" was one of the leads as well. She took the play to a whole new level.  Poor thing on the last day she got a cold.  She said her character took so much out of her.  You can totally see that she put her whole heart and soul into it.

The Cast:

Taissa Farmiga, Ed harris, Amy Madigan, Larry Pine, Rich Sommer, Paul Sparks, Nat Wolff

I love Broadway and everything about it.  You can shut off your brain and for 2 hours be taken away by the play.

This was thrilling!
